CFC 48 – Blues & Oranges

Adding another challenge entry to CAS-ual Friday with some blue & orange. Originally, I had intended it to be a single layer card again, but the Jenni Bowlin ink just didn’t like me and I had a huge water-y puddle on my orange hats.  So I cut a few hats out popped them up with dimensionals and hope it covers all the bad stamping.

**Sigh, the blue is so crisp and sharp… but the orange just won’t cooperate =(

Opposite Dreams

Used: Papertrey Ink (White cardstock, For the Graduate stamp set) | Stampin’ Up (Brilliant Blue ink, dimensionals) | Jenni Bowlin (Chicken Feed ink) | Others (rinestones)

Pamela, this is only about my third visit to your blog but it is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love the graphic nature of this card–it’s so strking, and the hats look like they were all meant to be popped up from the start!

HI – lovely card, and you’de never know you had a orange ink problem ! You asked about the ‘stamp’ I used on my CAS-Friday card, it’s actually a template by The Crafters Workshop called Flower shower, got mine from The Craft Barn…hope the ink starts behaving itself ! Esther x

I absolutely loves this. It’s like a party on a card. It totally reminds me of graduation day when everyone through their caps up in excitement. Just looking at it makes me excited for whoever is going to graduate. And I must admit, I’m a little glad you had the ink mishap because I think that the caps popped up are so fun!
