I don’t usually write personal stuff here, but I was just so excited to get this! My brother and I went to Oakridge Mall at 8am to line up for four hours – just for this limited edition Lego Store kit. Well, 8am isn’t exactly early and I really could have gotten there at 7. ”But it’s a Saturday….” he complained.
Well… 4 hours for this?
Totally worth it
Came home after a long morning and decided to make another card. I made another birthday card for both Papertrey Ink’s Make It Monday with Nichole’s color inspiration & CAS-ual Friday‘s birthday challenge.
Also entering into Catered Crop’s B challenge: birthday, banner…
So here’s my take on the color inspiration that was provided. I sketched the card out on some Starbucks napkins yesterday while enjoying my happy hour (White Chocolate Mocha) frappuccino - yummmm.
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI (white, berry sorbet, melon berry, harvest gold, aqua mist, blueberry sky)
Stamps: MSS (Blast Off!)
Ink: Versamark
Others: PTI (Block Alphabet Upper, Block Alphabet Number)

Awesome colors and I love the negative cut sentiment in the banners. The faux stitching is such a great detail too! Thanks for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays!

You continue to rock those negative die cuts!! That’s the whole reason I bought the set – why I put it in my cart as soon as release night began!! But believe it or not, I only just separated the dies today … a little nervous about losing some.
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog post this am – and congrats on passing your exam!
Have fun with your new Lego Store kit!

Love your diecut with the gorgeous colors! AWESOME design all around! Thanks so much for joining the birthday celebration with us at CAS-ual Fridays! PS: It’s totally worth it to get that Lego. One of the biggest Lego set my hubby and son bought was the Eiffel Tower set. They didn’t mind hand carrying it back to Canada from Florida as it is way too big to check in the luggage! Things we do for Lego, huh?
