Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge

I’m back again with Papertrey Ink’s April Blog Hop Challenge and this time, we are going for tilted!

PTI-BlogHop-Apr13

Unknowingly, I ended up using red, white and blue for my card! I stamped the “Thank You” using Big Bold Wishes and fussy cut the sentiment out.

Love the effect :)

I then stamped some stripes diagonally across the card base and adhered the sentiment at an angle parallel to the navy stripes. Then I blinged it up with some rhinestones.

Red, White and Blue

Certainly one of the simplest card I’ve made. I think I’ll go fussy cut a few more of these sentiments!

Get Well Wishes – Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI (white) Vellum
Stamps: PTI (Big Bold Wishes) Neat & Tangled (On the Strip 2)
Ink: PTI (True Black, Enchanted Evening, Pure Poppy)
Others: Kaisercraft (Rhinestones)

Papertrey March Blog Hop Challenge

Papertrey Ink’s March Blog Hop Challenge is one my favorite: sequins! I bought a few bags of flat back sequins during my trip in Hong Kong and loved using them on my projects.

PTI-BlogHop-Mar13

I couldn’t help but make another shaker card with sequins :) For the border, I used some fabric tape that I bought from Hong Kong.

Get Well Wishes

Here’s a close up of the coarse glitter, blue-green, pink and silver flat sequins in the shaker cloud.

Papertrey February Blog Hop Challenge

Papertrey Ink’s February Blog Hop Challenge is challenging us to use Monograms for our blog hop project. I spent the longest time trying to organize my stamps around my monogram!

PTI-BlogHop-Feb-12

I made a very small notebook. With a whopping four lined pages. Very small, and not to mention, very useless :P

Monogram Note Book

There are four lined pages in the notebook, each decorated similarly to the cover. The book is binded by stitching with a piece of brown felt adhered over.

Monogram Note Book - Pages

I really enjoy the ombre stamping instead of using copics for shading. For me, the blending is much smoother with inkpads than trying to attempt copic shading.

Monogram Note Book - Pages

Monogram Note Book – Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI (white)
Stamps: PTI (Rosie Posie, Natural Beauties) Mama Elephant (Midnight Letters)
Ink: PTI (True Black, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet, Raspberry Fizz, Blueberry Sky, Enchanted Evening, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado)
Others: Hemptique (White Hemp Cord Twine) Brown Felt
