CFC 102 – Loved

TGIF! CAS-ual Friday Challenge is back this week with red, white and blue in honor of Memorial Day.

For this challenge, I stamped a gingham pattern using On the strip 2 in blue and red. I then embellished the card front with some envelopes and a tiny sentiment from Chit Chat.

I added some postal stripes using a red and blue copic marker and stamped some hearts on the envelope. I colored the “♥” in the sentiment and applied a thick layer of glossy accents.

Mama Elephant – Guest Design

I’m so excited to be able to guest for Mama Elephant this month. They have lots of fun and fresh sentiments stamps that’s perfect for card making and scrapbooking.

My first card features one of April’s release, Tree Friends.

I found the perfect pattern paper for the tree image and aged the edges with some distress inks (thanks Tasnim!). The tree was coloured with corresponding colors from the pattern paper. A very different style from what I usually do, but I love this card so much!

Next, I’m using Flashy Letters in a softer and more feminine way.

I stamped and cut out the letters, made clothespin using Midnight Letters and stamped the hearts from Central Park behind to mimic some bokeh.

For the Stampede, I used both Central Park and Bling together.  This is definitely one of my favorite cards for this release ♥

I blended four colors together onto the cardstock to create a romantic sunset background. I then stamped the cityscape (love!), fussy cut it and adhered it onto the card base with foam tape.

Neat & Tangled: On the Strip 2

It’s March and not only is Spring coming, but Neat & Tangled is also releasing three stamp sets this month. For all those who loved On the Strip, we’re back with On the Strip 2!

I used one of the thicker strips and stamped it four times in pink, gold, orange and yellow with a banner and sentiment from Party Dots.

For my second card, I used the woodgrain strip in gold and brown for the bottom of the card. I then stamped the bird from My Heart Sings.
