CFC #94 – Chipboard Hearts

TGIF – It’s another CAS-ual Fridays Challenge again! We are using chipboards in our CAS creations this week, so it’s time for you to break into those chipboard thickers, and other embellishments that you’ve been hoarding ;)

To be honest, I don’t own a lot of chipboard supplies. So if you’re like me, you can try creating your own chipboard embellishments with Papertrey Ink’s coasters. I die cut a few hearts with Wplus9′s Folk Art Florals Die and glued them together.

CFC #94 - Chipboard Hearts

I stamped the brush stroke from CAS-ual Friday’s Breathe in a pink gradient and a sentiment from the same set. I finished the card off with some self-made chipboard hearts, adding some shine with a Sakura Stardust gelly roll pen.

This card will also be entered into Moxie Fab’s Ombre challenge for the ombre stamping.

I hope you will join the fun along with us this week as the fabulous prize that is up for grabs is a $20 gift certificate to CAS-ual Fridays Stamp!

I love cameras. Instax. Instagram. DSLR. Polaroid. All of them! I was so happy when Moxie Fab World had a Camera Craze Challenge! I have 4 camera stamps, 3 polaroid frame stamps and I’m still craving for more!

So here is a quick card for the challenge!

Here is the close up of a very simple one-layer camera card. I’m absolutely in love with these colors!

Moxie Fab “Stamp” of Approval: Neat & Tangled

Wow! Did you hear? Neat & Tangled is featured at Moxie Fab World as their Moxie Fab “Stamp” of Approval!

Each DT member were challenged to do a tag for the month of November and this is what I came up with! Tags are super quick, easy and fun to make and I’m hooked! This little elf girl is from Neat & Tangled’s Elves at Work which was released in October.

N&T: A Gift for You Tag

I did some washi-masking for the plaid on the side and some pencil coloring for the little elf girl. Here’s a close up:

CFC #78 – Christmas Penguin

Trying some torn vellum to play along with this week’s CAS-ual Fridays Challenge. To give it a little holiday spirit, I used the Santa hat from Neat & Tangled’s Hey Cookie stamp set.

Also playing along with this week Paper Smooches Spark Challenge.

I took a little spin on the sketch and used the torn edge of the vellum as my “border”.

Christmas Penguin

I backed everything with some washi tape that I finally bought at Target this past weekend.

CFC #74 – Inspiration Gone Wrong

Back with a quick card for this week’s CAS-ual Friday Challenge – one based on a photo I saw on Pinterest. Also entering this in WCMD gallery at Moxie Fab World.

Credits: Constructive Chaos

Being inspired by the embroidery, I used the same technique for the heart and exclamation mark. The reason for “inspiration gone wrong” was that I’m just not happy with the overall composition of the card.

Coffee ♥!

Here’s the closeup of the embroidered heart. I love the result of the heart, but I guess I’m not used to having no sentiments on the card front!
