PS Sparks – Happy Birthday!

I’m excited to be back with another week of Paper Smooches Sparks with 4 Cool Shades this week :)

And this week’s Cool Shades is yellow, mint, turquoise and green!

I used the light bulb from Freezy Fellas and stamped in repeatedly under the hand-stitched “strings” and coloured it in the cool shades colors.  Then I finished the card off with a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler.  Finally, a true one-layer card!

Here’s a close up of the light bulbs.  I added some glossy accents to each light bulb to make them look a little more realistic :)

Runway Inspired Challenge #37

Hello!! Runway Inspired is back with Paper Smooches this week. Kim was very generous and gave each of us a set of Paper Smooches stamps to work with this week ♥

I love the bold red and black against the white dress so I stamped a line of circles vertically in red with the sentiments going horizontally in black.

I stamped the hearts five times on white cardstock, colored with copics and cut them out. After adhering it to the sentiment, I applied a thick coat of glossy accents on top.

Hello Butterfly

Paper Smooches’ Sparks Challenge with a sketch challenge this week. I’m not really good with following sketches, but the design team’s inspiration was enough to get me started on the card this week.

And yay for a new stamp set :) During my short trip to Hong Kong at the beginning of the year, I went to one of Paper Smooches retailers in Hong Kong and found a lot of stamps from many manufacturers including Paper Smooches & Lawn Fawn. One of the stamp sets that I got was Flap Happy which is absolutely adorable!

Hello Butterfly

I did a little something different. I stamped the sentiment with the butterfly resting on it and cut the sentiment and butterfly out, leaving the butterfly wings hollow as well.
