Make It Monday #55 – Frames

March 2, 2012

I’ve gotten addicted with origami and wood chips these days, cutting up these really thin wood boards.  My dad loves going to Lee Valley and he bought me a stack of wood chips that he thought would be good for card making.  These wood chips are pretty hard to cut since they break too easily, especially those sharp corners.  The frame was made with the technique from Dawn’s Make It Monday #55.

Used: Black cardstock | White cardstock | Memento Tuxedo Black | PTI Sending a Big Thank You | Black Rinestone | Wood chips

Its a very elegant card. Interesting with the wooden chips.
    I like your result 🙂

  2. Lovely take on the challenge. I like the texture of the wood chips used in contrast to something as soft as a butterfly!

Wow! This is a delightful first for me. The wood butterfly is beautiful. Fab job on stretching the frame too. Very elegant.

  4. Love your frame. You did an awesome job with the challenge.
