Trendy Triangles
July 27, 2013
When I saw this image on pinterest, I wanted to replicate this on a card. Moxie Fab World’s current Trendy Triangles Challenge was the final push for me to get the card done.
source: pinterest.com
I started off by cutting up some washi tape into very very thin strips and started layering down the triangles.
Yes, I’m doing the washi-tape masking again ๐ After an hour or so, masking was finally done.
And so begins the sponging!! I pulled out my ink pads and started applying colors to the triangles.
Finished the card off with a simple sentiment.

EGADS!!! Pamela, this is so stunning!! What dedication, and to an amazing effect! It’s too bad there wasn’t a way to preserve this mask as a stencil. But I guess that’s what is going to keep this card a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

I love the stained glass look of your card! The sponging created such a perfectly uneven coloring of the spaces – just wonderful! Congrats on being a winner on Moxie Fab World! You definitely earned it!
