Designer Series – Carnival Cupcakes

August 29, 2014

Hello everyone! I’m over at Mama Elephant blog with a card using one of the cutest stamp set that was just released in August.

I started off with a die cut rectangle using the Index Card CC. The sentiment was first heat embossed onto the panel and then blended with a mixture of orange, dark yellow and light yellow on top.

I created my bunny on a cupcake by stamping and carefully masking certain areas. The image was coloured with copics with some stickles on the cupcake as icing. This was then carefully cut out using the coordinating dies with the partial die-cutting technique.

And here you go! The cutest birthday card ever made and coincidentally, this card will be going to a little girl who was born in the year of the rabbit!
