Hello! I’m over at the Mama Elephant‘s blog for a little project using the creative cuts FBA – Halloween. You might just scroll down to the photos and wondering “how is this Halloween?!” and you’re right! I want to show you guys how I created something that’s not a ghost, Frankenstein, mummy or Dracula!

First, I cut out the face using FBA – Halloween and coloured them with copics.

Copic Colours: E01, E00, E000, E0000

Next, I die cut a circle on a piece of post-it and gave her some blush.

Along with the other Favor Bag Accessory creative cuts, I cut out the rest of the elements and adhered it onto the face to build a little princess.

Blush – FBA – Halloween Ghost’s eye holes
Crown – FBA – Cat Crown
Pigtails – FBA – Bear Panda Eyes
Nose – FBA – Halloween Nose

So where did I get the inspiration for a princess? Of course it’s from another Mama Elephant stamp set called Bootastic! So I created a card using the princess from that stamp set, but instead of a Halloween sentiment, I used a birthday sentiment.

Hello and good morning everyone! I’m taking over Mama Elephant blog for a spooky (not really…) card featuring the new Plushoween stamp set.

I first stamped and coloured this cute wanna-be bunny out and coloured using my copics. This was just some very basic colouring where I start with the darkest colour, and then go over with my lighter ones to create the gradient.

Using post-its, I masked off a few stars in the background, then I blended a mixture of distress inks directly onto the card base. What’s a spookier colour combination other than purple and blue!

DS - Plushoween - 3

I flicked some white paint, water and glitter onto my card base before adhering the little fox and finished the card off by stamping the sentiment.

Stamp Sets: Plushoween
Creative Cuts: Plushoween creative cuts, Lots of Stars
Copics: Y24, Y26, Y28, YR23, E53, E51, E50, R32, R02, R08, R00

Good morning everyone! I’m over at the Mama Elephant blog today with a card using Meowlloween Extras.

I started off by stamping and masking the pumpkins from Meowlloween stamp set and blended some purple and black distress inks onto the card panel.

DS - Meowlloween Extra

I coloured the pumpkins, stamped the sentiment, and stamped and cut out those cute little mice in pumpkin suits. I just love this sentiment paired up with these cuties!

I masked the pumpkins again and flicked some water to the card base. I love watching water react with these distress inks!

Here is the complete card after putting the die cuts together. I love stitching card panels onto the card base as a way to give some dimension to the card but without having it overdone.

I decorated the card front a little bit with some dots (with some glitter and white pens).

Welcome to our first day of stamp highlights at Mama Elephant’s August release Stamp Highlight. Today, we’ll be looking at Meowlloween stamp set.

I started by masking off a circle and blended some yellow and orange for the moon. Before blending the background, I masked off some stars using Lots of Stars creative cuts. Then I masked the moon back and blended purple, blue and teal distress inks onto the card base. Then I flicked some water onto my background for a starry look.

I took the pumpkin trick-or-treating bag from Meowlloween Extras. I selectively stamped and cut out the bag and attached it to the broom with some hemp string.

Head on over to Mama Elephant’s blog for more inspiration!
