Hello and good morning! I’m back with a card with Mama Elephant‘s March release. I love these Timeless Tulips in this release and it’s the perfect time for this! Aside from Spring coming up, we’ve also got Mother’s Day coming up and these are the perfect stamp set to use!

I masked off some stripes and did some gradient blending for a simple background. I wanted a simple background to showcase the gorgeous tulips!

Yes these are handcut… but they’re not difficult to fussy cut! I coloured them with my copics and added some clear gems so they look like they’re droplets of water on the card. Likewise, you could use glossy accents for this ūüôā

Stamp Highlight – His Love

February 24, 2017

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week so far! Today, we’ll be taking a closer look at another Mama Elephant February release stamp set called His Love. This is a gorgeous stamp set with beautiful hand-lettering and an intricate cross.

Of course I had to showcase that hand-lettering! I tried to make a card where the focus is on the bold sentiment and nothing else. But I didn’t want it too boring…

SH - His Love

So I blended a pink and blue together for my cardbase and using some silkscreens, I painted some white cross onto the blended card base. Very simple, bold, but won’t take away the focus on the large sentiment.

It might be a little hard to see the tiny water splatters and glitter and white paint. I love watching the ink react to the splatters!

Hello everyone! We’re at our last stamp highlight for Mama Elephant‘s November release and we’ll be taking a closer look at Crafty Labels today!

I love curly brackets so I decided to use the largest curly bracket label, which was big enough to fit my little cat eating the ice cream cone.

For my background, I wanted a fun plaid in yellow and blue with the overlapping becoming green. I flicked some silver paint, white paint and water onto the plaid to create those lighter splatters.

Good morning and welcome back after the weekend! I’m back with another project for Mama Elephant for the November release stamp set – Hollow Letters.

Love project life? You’ll need this alphabet set. Do scrapbooking? You’ll need this alphabet set. Actually, all of you will need this alphabet set! This set is perfect for creating your own sentiment and you can colour them in or just leave them hollow!

Mama Elephant - Hollow Letters

I used the alphabets and stamped my own custom sentiment. I coloured the “moon” in yellow and added some glitter to it for interest.

Hello everyone! I’m super excited about today’s Stamp Highlight since we are highlighting the first stamp I designed for Mama Elephant today! If you follow me on instagram, you might’ve noticed the occasional hastag #adventuresofpix. I started drawing a little bunny¬†on some Starbucks white cups and after a few cups, I thought it might make a good stamp set. ¬†This little bunny calls herself Pix (short for Pixelette) and you’ll be seeing her around again. ¬†And there you have it, Pix’s first stamp set is released – Pix’s Favorites.

I masked off different widths of stripes across the card base and blended different pinks and purples directly onto the card. I flicked some white paint and water splatters to create a dreamy effect on the card. I also drew some dots onto the card using my glitter pen so it would shine in some angles.

Mama Elephant - Pix's Favorites

This is definitely my favorite Pix. Actually, it might be a close tie with coffee Pix, but I really really love her ribbon here ūüôā I finished off the card with a simple (and very appropriate!) sentiment from Oh Happy Birds.

I’ve been seeing a lot of cards with Pix on instagram these days and I really want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! It’s amazing to see what you guys do with little Pix!

Good morning! I’m back with another project with Spring Garden, an adorable stamp set by Luli Bunny!

I created a simple blended background using the clouds from Rainbow High creative cuts. I love that little heart in the cloud!

I stamped the little girl and boy and coloured it using my copics. I stamped out a few of the flowers and adhered it to their hands. Since we just passed “White Day” (very similar to Valentine’s Day), I wanted to make a card where the boy is returning the flowers as a gift to the girl.

Head on over to Mama Elephant’s blog for more inspiration!

I’m using the I Love You die in my project today! I first blended in some pink and purple ink on my card base and I flicked some white paint and water onto it for some interest. I then die cut my cardstock three times and glued them together. When it comes to intricate dies, it’s easier to layer them with cardstock than to try and use foam tape.
