Good morning everyone! I’m so glad to be joining the big Neat & Tangled 3rd Birthday blog hop! When Danielle asked me, I was still in the middle of my wedding preparations but I couldn’t say no to one who brought me into my first DT 3 years ago!

You have arrived from the talented Lisa Spangler. If you’re looking for more information about the blog hop, you can go back to Neat & Tangled each day to see who will be joining this big party.

For my birthday card to Neat & Tangled (and Danielle!), I used the die Seeing Stars and the new stamp set Happiest Birthday.

N&T - 3rd Birthday - 1

I die cut the stars from white cardstock and stitched it onto my card base that was already blended with blue ink. I then adhered the funny little bear onto the card front with foam tape. I love how silly this bear looks!

And of course we’ve got prizes up for grabs!  Comment along each blog along the hop for all week longs for a chance to win an awesome prize!

Prizes:(1) $100 gift certificate to the Neat and Tangled shop; (2) $50 gift certificate to the Neat and Tangled shop. Winners will be chosen from comments all along the hop all week long.

Good morning everyone! It’s the third day of Neat & Tangled‘s July release. We have a perfect stamp set for all those Star Wars fans out there: Time Warp and A Long Time Ago.

I heat embossed the Time Warp stamp in white onto a piece of cardstock and blended some distress ink all over the card front. I then flicked some water onto the card to create some splatters so that they would look like stars.

I stamped the simple sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock and adhered it on top of the card base with foam tape. I just can’t stop blending these distress inks 🙂

I’m back for Neat & Tangled second day of their July release as a guest designer this month! Danielle has an adorable set for us this month and it’s perfect for paper piecing or colouring.

You might have gotten a little sneak peak at this card a few days ago. I stamped the waves and masked a partial part of it. Then I stamped the boat on top.

Neat & Tangled Guest - Sailmates

I finished the panel with some machine stitching. Yup – no more hand stitching for now. I tried my hand at the sewing machine and I definitely need more practice.

Good morning! Today is an exciting day for me as Neat and Tangled reveals their first stamp set for the July release. This stamp set was drawn by me based on some of the stamp carving designs I did earlier in the year. The concept of this stamp set was to be able to decorate gifts, from gift packaging, to gift cards and gift tags.

I stamped my own pattern paper with the heart and stitched a piece of vellum die cut using A Lot to Say die. I then stamped one of the girls and the sentiment directly onto the vellum.

Neat & Tangled Guest - Gifts

Thank you Danielle for making my dream come true with my own designed stamp set! I’m so excited to be able to stamp my own handwriting too 🙂

Hello everyone! I am back with Neat & Tangled for second and last stamp release this month. Today’s card features a fun background similar to Diamonds – Triangles

I heat embossed the triangle in clear and blended some ink for the bottom half of the card.

I stamped and colour the girl, and then stamped the sentiment on vellum and stitched it on the left side.  A very simple and soft coloured card.
