Hello everyone! Unfortunately I couldn’t participate in the stampede this month… but I am back with my first stamp highlight with the adorable Nom Nom Kitties with Mama Elephant!

I’ve always wanted to do a tall skinny card ever since I got some tall envelopes, and this stamp set would make the perfect card to go with my Japanese envelopes!

I used some washi tapes to do the masking and blending for a plaid panel. I cut my circle out with Sew Fancy creative cuts, and adhered little kitty in the center.

With all those food circling little kitty, I’m pretty sure she was thinking “YASSSSSSS!”

I’m using the new Blessings die where I adhered it using foam tape onto a geometric pattern that was blended directly onto the cardbase. I went with an Autumn colour theme, using oranges/red/green and brown for the shapes. I splattered some water using a brush onto the card base so the inks would react to the water and create fainter colours.

Good morning everyone! Did you miss us last month? To compensate for that, we have an amazing release this month with something for everyone! The school year is starting soon so we have Page Huggers that’s perfect for back-to-school gifts!

I made a card featuring Page Huggers finished off with a sentiment from Words Defined. I couldn’t decide which little critter to use to for this project, I decided to use Mr. Rabbit with his carrots. You’ll see Mr. Mouse and Miss Kitty showing up in my next projects soon!

Mama Elephant - Page Huggers

I blended in a light blue behind the sentiment to give it a splash of colours. Then I adhered the carrots on the top and bottom of the sentiment, as though carrots are growing out from behind.

I’m using the newly release Palm Tree die with Get Outta Town stamp and coordinating dies for a fun summer card! I first masked it using the die cut and blended the colours directly onto the the cardbase before adhering the other elements onto the card.

Good morning everyone! Welcome back as we continue the Stamp Highlights for Mama Elephant’s June release! We’re highlighting the Rowdy Raccoons stamp set. I love this fun stamp set that’s full of adorable raccoons doing all sorts of crazy things.

I first masked off “hooray” using the Hooray Script creative cuts. I coloured and blended a pretty blue background and adhered this adorable bicycling raccoon.

I finished off by using the sentiment from Hello Friend Wishes stamp set.

Hello! Welcome back as we continue the Stamp Highlights for Mama Elephant’s June release! We’re highlighting the Girlfriends stamp set. This is the perfect stamp set to use when you just want to send a “hello” or “just because” card to a fellow cardmaker!

I first masked off a frame using Framed Tags Park Avenue and blended a mixture of teal and yellow to the card base.

Mama Elephant - Girlfriends

I used both Girlfriends and Incoming Mail on my card. I’m pretty sure we’re as excited as Kryssi here when we get packages!

Good morning everyone! We’re highlighting the Brushed Florals stamp set. I just love the sentiments in this set and the gorgeous watercolour look on the flowers!

I first stamped my sentiment in black and using the floral stamps, I stamped around the sentiment. After so long, I’m still digging the gold and black combination.

I finished the card off by flicking some black paint onto the card for more black.
