Welcome to the WCMD 2012 winners blog hop! You should have arrived from WCMD 2012 Christmas winner Mignon Jessica Bear!
Each WCMD 2012 winner was challenged to make a card in the same category as the one that we won in last year. For me, it was the Love category.
I used the paper die from Paper Smooches as my card base. I used the bunny from A Little Lovin and the sentiment from Chit Chat. This card is as big as my Danbo!
Here is a close up of the card. I made some ink splatters in pink and gold onto the pattern paper. I didn’t have any pink and gold reinkers or misters so I had to improvise a bit. I rubbed the inkpad directly onto an acrylic block and picked up the colours with a very wet paintbrush and flicked it onto the card.
Now I don’t really have a tip for winning the WCMD. But submit your cards! You will never know which card of yours will catch the judges’ eyes and win!

Thanks for the idea of putting holes on the left side of a card to make it look like a notebook. Super technique. I’ll have to “borrow” it from you. This little guy is such a cutie, too. Thanks for sharing.
